Display raw images in Vista

I present to You, the first alpha release of RawPreview. For now it's only a preview handler for Windows Vista allowing preview of different raw image formats in the preview pane. I'm using dcraw to extract the embedded thumbnail. It currently only registers for *.pef, *.dng, *.nef.

For the future:
  • Support thumbnail creation on Vista and XP
  • Be able to edit the file-types it's registered for in some kind of GUI
  • Show exif information in the preview on Vista

bjarte.skogoy on 8/12/2008 5:53 PM There seems to be a problem with the com registration in the installation. The handler is not properly registered in registry. I'll try to sort it out later this day.
Vista Error Sweden on 6/22/2010 12:35 PM Hello! I'm an avid reader of your blog whenever I can. ^^ As of recent I am having issues with Win Vista. Any chance you could give me a hand? You seem like you know are capable of answering a few questions about Vista and I don't really want to pay some kid at my local electronics store to outsource fixing my PC.
